At 20:51 on Saturday, 17 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Childs Ercall.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a False Alarm caused by controlled burning
