At 15:45 on Friday, 23 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance including the Pinzgauer was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

200 sqm grass and under growth involved in fire beaters and knapsacks in use.
