At 21:01 on Sunday, 25 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Late Fire Call in Hodnet.

Fire appliances was mobilised. An Operations officer was in attendance.

An officer was mobilised to carry out an inspection at a property that had a fire in a chip pan earlier in the evening but which is now out.
