At 05:24 on Saturday, 8 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

RTC involving 1 car. No persons trapped. Vehicle made safe by Fire Service personnel.
