At 15:09 on Monday, 10 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Condover.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

2 day old donkey released from gate using high pressure airbags and small gear
