At 06:50 on Thursday, 20 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Albrighton, Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road Traffic Collision involving 2 vehicles. 1 person released before arrival of Fire Service. 1 person being released by Fire Service from second vehicle.
