At 20:55 on Friday, 28 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire in dis-used school building, small quantity of rubbish alight extinguished using one hose reel jet.
