At 22:11 on Sunday, 6 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods

Chimney fire, extinguished using chimney rods.
