At 04:51 on Friday, 18 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Norton Crossroads, Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

RTC involving gritter wagon which had left the carriageway. 1 casualty taken to hospital by ambulance. Vehicle made safe by fire service personnel using small gear.
