At 22:12 on Sunday, 11 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bedroom Fire in Ackleton, Wolverhampton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in a first floor bedroom caused by heat from a chimney breast igniting a mattress set against the wall.
