At 15:22 on Friday, 16 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Beechfields Way, Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Newport.

Fire involving bedroom on first floor of domestic property. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish fire.
