At 11:25 on Tuesday, 20 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

Small fire in flat roof at rear of property caused by building work. One hose reel jet and a short extension ladder in use.
