At 13:07 on Thursday, 29 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Wem.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving two private vehicles, 1 person extricated. Crews used small gear and made vehicles safe.
