At 20:05 on Sunday, 8 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Chimney rods
  • Stirrup pump
  • Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving flue of wood burning stove - chimney rods, stirrup pump and thermal image camera in use.
