At 01:48 on Thursday, 2 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire involving wooden chimney mantle. Crews have removed a small section of the chimney mantle to extinguish the fire and cool the area using water spray.
