At 21:03 on Saturday, 25 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving towels ignited by gas fire in domestic property, out on arrival, two breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation in use to clear smoke logging to ground floor of property, one dry powder extinguisher standing by
