At 09:58 on Friday, 31 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the RSPCA and a vet.

One deer entwined in electric fencing, released by Fire Service Personnel.
