At 18:04 on Thursday, 18 May, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Horse stuck in fallen tree - released prior to arrival of Fire Service.
