At 19:56 on Thursday, 25 May, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Craven Arms.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Clun, Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Spinal board
• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 Male trapped in car after hitting tree. Crews extricated casualty using Holmatro cutting equipment and tirfor winch. 1 male conveyed to hospital via air ambulance, 1 further male conveyed to hospital by land ambulance
