At 18:37 on Saturday, 3 June, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire.

6 fire appliances including the Water Carrier and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Involving 2 large industrial machines and 1 large pile of recycled wood and chippings
