At 00:37 on Friday, 7 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Lilleshall.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Telford Central.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a flat battery in a smoke detector
