At 22:58 on Sunday, 9 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

Approximately 2 sqm of rubbish involved in fire. Short extension ladder and 1 hose reel jet used.
