At 01:16 on Sunday, 6 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Fire involving approximately 3m of wooden fencing and small quantity of household rubbish. Smoke damage to external wall of property caused by hot ashes in wheelie bin.
