At 18:14 on Sunday, 20 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Fire involving chip pan which had spread to cupboards and extractor fan of domestic kitchen in two storey semi detached property approx. 15m x 15m
