At 08:58 on Wednesday, 4 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving a dishwasher in kitchen on the ground floor of a detached residential property, PPV fan in use to clear smoke logging, Fire Service personnel also isolated the electricity supply. 1 rescued cat given oxygen therapy.
