At 04:40 on Thursday, 19 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.
