At 21:53 on Sunday, 22 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 200 bales of hay alight in the open, 2 hose reel jets in use protecting surrounding hedge row
