At 10:40 on Monday, 23 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by engine fault
