At 08:20 on Tuesday, 31 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Jubilee Court, Newtown Road, Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch.

Smell of burning in flat. Fire service carried out investigations to find this was a false alarm caused by smoking materials.
