At 14:17 on Friday, 24 November, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One male self rescued from river and liaising with Police.
