At 11:57 on Sunday, 26 November, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

False alarm caused by faulty light fitting. Inspection carried out by fire service personnel using thermal image camera only.
