At 01:02 on Wednesday, 13 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving 2 caravanettes 1 jet 2 hose reel jets 4 breathing apparatus sets
