At 18:42 on Wednesday, 13 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Reports of smoke detector sounding by neighbouring property. On investigation, unattended cooking found. Property heavily smoke logged. Positive pressure ventilation in use to clear smoke logging.
