At 08:11 on Tuesday, 19 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Hadnall.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

4 calves rescued from slurry pit on farm using Rescue Tender specialist animal rescue kit.
