At 22:13 on Wednesday, 20 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher

Fire involving industrial washing machine, extinguished using dry powder.
