At 11:13 on Friday, 22 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Much Wenlock Road, Buildwas.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Telford Central and Tweedale.

Report of fire involving HGV. Incident was found to be a false alarm caused by a blown turbo.
