At 23:43 on Thursday, 28 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Broseley.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera
