At 21:26 on Sunday, 28 January, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Boningale, Albrighton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One bonfire consisting of trees, extinguished by Fire Service personnel in the interest of public safety due to the smoke affecting visibility on a nearby roadway.
