At 12:20 on Thursday, 15 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Hazardous Substances.
4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit were mobilised from Market Drayton, Prees, Tweedale and Whitchurch. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Short extension ladder
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency, the Police and Shropshire Council.
Incident involving a chemical spillage from articulated vehicle.
