At 23:30 on Saturday, 24 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of smoke issuing from doorway and alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by accidental activation of smoke cloak
