At 15:17 on Tuesday, 6 March, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Whitchurch.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Prees, Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm good intent. Thorough search of entire premises, including roof space, carried out. Alarm believed to be due to smoke from external source.
