At 13:27 on Tuesday, 8 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
