At 16:50 on Sunday, 27 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Albrighton.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

From 16:50 to 19:50 Fire Control received a high volume of calls to the Albrighton area, crews dealt with numerous incidents including flooding affecting electrics and rescuing people trapped in flood water.
