At 19:28 on Wednesday, 4 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Grass fire measuring approximately 50 square metres. Crews are using one extended hose reel, beaters and knapsack sprayer to extinguish.
