At 14:33 on Friday, 6 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Leegomery.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving 20x30m of grass extinguished using one hose reel jet.
