At 03:57 on Sunday, 8 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 male threatening to jump from bridge into water - detained by police prior to entering water.
