At 12:13 on Sunday, 15 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tree Fire in Vyrnwy Road, Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Controlled burn of trees in garden by occupier. Due to ground conditions advice given to owner and fire extinguished by fire service personnel using 1 hose reel jet.
