At 16:49 on Sunday, 15 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Oswestry Road, Ellesmere.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Report of a smoke detector operating in a domestic property. On arrival it was found to be a small fire involving food in a microwave oven. The fire was out and no action was required by fire service personnel.
