At 11:11 on Wednesday, 18 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

False alarm caused by controlled burning. Responsible person in attendance.
