At 12:35 on Monday, 23 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews dealing with two seats of fire approximately 20m x 20m in wooded area. 1 hose reel jet and knapsack used to extinguish.
